23Aug08 was a bad day for fireworks. Rain started to fall from 11am till 6pm. 0630pm it continue to rain again, luckily it was a just a drizzle, i packed up my camera with the lovelyTamron 17-50 F2.8. The setup i use to capture fireworks include tripod, wired remote trigger and umbrella. Configuration for the camera was basically M mode, bulb shutter with F8. Below are some of the images. Enjoy~~ :D

I personally love this image, this was a crop of an out of focus image, for no specific reason, i love it.

Tokyo Trip

The view of Ueno station from a brigde, picture taken from a bridge that connect between Ueno Station and Ueno Park. Ueno is also home to some of Tokyo's finest cultural sites, including the Tokyo National Musuem, the National Museum of Western Art, and the National Science Musuem, as well as a major public concert hall.

Pic is taken inside Ueno Park. Not much people in that park though.

Night scene taken from Ueno Station, was very cold that night. Pic taken with a monopod and shivering hand. :D

An old man doing riddles game at the entrance of Sensoji Temple. People who have the right answer will get some myterious gift, adults get ring while children gets cards and snacks.
The riddle seems to be full with jokes inside, as most the people laugh while the old man asking the riddles.

The way how i order food in Tokyo. First i took a picture of the meal on the display window using my mobile phone. Then, you walk in to the restaurant and show the staff, when you heard something like "su go E ne~~"(amazing), then you know you have succesfully ordered what you want. :D

My 1st DSLR, its my dream to own a DSLR for 3 years. Electronic item in Japan are one of the cheapest that i have found. You can search the price through www.kakaku.com, and see which shop offer the lowest price, download the map through the kakaku.com. And start your treasure hunting journey. (Indiana Jones music playing background now)

A ninja themed restaurant. All the staff were dressed in Ninja suite, with ninja sword and some shuriken with them too. Thanks to friends from Canon Japan for bring us to this very special restaurant. I have a great time here.

Sushi in NinNinHonPo, the fish were cut using ninja sword (joke) and served by ninja(this is true). :D

A street in Ueno city, don't know what it called though. :D

Ah~~ an adult toys shop. This 6th story shop sells adult toys and videos. You will spend hrs to walk through all the six story. @_@

Essence of Japan in my opinion, the PACHINKO and ARCADE center!!! The shop is always full of people, I not sure how pachinko works though, I only know that when you have a lot of metal balls droping out, you will win money with a big smile.(Gambling in private industry is illegal, but pachinko have ways to tolerate it)

Shibuya, the teenager's hub. One of the 23 special wards of Tokyo. Here you will see, youngster, youngster and youngster.

There was 1 of the temple also having some ceremony, saw the lion dance and this pic was taken while the lion open the fruits that represent prosperous n peace.
